TACTYC Executive Committee

Our Executive Committee normally numbers around 15-18 members. It is made up of the Chair, Secretary, Treasurer/Membership Secretary, 4 elected members, between 4-6 co-opted members and 4 ex-officio members (who are responsible for the Early Years journal). Our elected Executive members serve for three years with an option for re-election. We also welcome co-opted members who usually serve for one or two years; we encourage them to stand for election when spaces arise if they enjoy working on behalf of TACTYC members - and our aim is to ensure they do enjoy it. Our co-optees are appointed to the Committee for their knowledge and expertise and have specific roles allocated to reflect this expertise.

Executive meetings are normally held four times a year, usually in a central venue (Birmingham) but also in Oxford at the invitation of the publishers of TACTYC's Early Years journal.

The Executive Committee is listed below, with their relevant contact details. If you'd like to know more about the Executive and its work, feel free to write and ask, or alternatively, email one of the main officers of the Committee whose email contacts are provided.
