TACTYC/BERA EY SIG JOINT SEMINARS
We are pleased to announce a collaboration between TACTYC and BERA's Early Years Special Interest Group to run two seminars – one in Winchester and one in Sheffield – with the aim of potentially constructing a policy advice document to inform UK governments on research/practice/policy links in ECE. We welcome new and existing researchers to attend these seminars and hope to generate some real interest across the early childhood field and to make links with both our own November Conference and the September BERA Conference. Places at Winchester are limited to 60 so apply soon if you’d like to attend. Further information and application forms can be found here.

CONFERENCE SPEAKERS AND ORGANISERS - from left to right: Dr. Christine Stephen, Dr. Jane Waters, Professor Denise Hevey, Dr. Glenda Walsh, Professor Elizabeth Wood and Dr. Jane Payler
CONFERENCE/AGM 2013
Title:The Early Years Continuum: Exploring and valuing high quality practice and research in early years
Dates: Friday, 1st and Saturday, 2nd November 2013
Venue: The International Convention Centre (ICC), Broad Street, Birmingham, B1 2EA, UK
The topic is deliberately broad so that we are covering all ages of young children and those practitioners who work and play with them. The Conference planning is now complete and you can see the full information flyer and application form here.
As well as a full complement of keynote speakers (see draft), we also hope to have full participation from you so you’ll find the Call for Papers here: we do hope that you’ll contribute to some aspect of our conference as we know there is much excellent research and practice going on which delegates would love to share.
