CONFERENCE AND AGM 2012
Date: Saturday, 10th November
Venue: The International Conference Centre, Birmingham
Topic: Developing Early Years Practice: Reflecting on developments in practice and research
Our Conference flyer can be found here and we hope that you'll all apply as early as possible as we've something different on offer this year which we think you'll appreciate and enjoy (see information here). We have a fabulous range of keynote speakers as well as other presentations.
2012 is the year of Cathy Nutbrown's Early Education and Childcare Qualifications Review and the new, slimmer Early Years Foundation Stage framework. In different ways, each highlights the importance of quality in early years practice so this year's conference workshops focus on professional education, training and development of practitioners to enhance effective practice. Along with our three keynotes, our workshops will be a forum for early years colleagues to discuss research, practice and policy developments in this vital area. Whether you are a practitioner, student, advisor, consultant or academic working in the field of early years, we want to hear from as many of you as possible at this year's conference. We invite colleagues, through our Call for Papers sheet, to choose one of four presentation formats for presenting and discussing practice, research and policy on any aspect of early years professional development, all of which you will find on our November Conference/AGM webpage.
We look forward very much to receiving your contributions and to seeing you at the Conference.
